This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

The last box I sent them had "hair chalk" in it. I sort of vaguely remember it being some kind of roller that applies chalk to hair (the name does give it away), and apparently that was very well received.

I wasn't really sure what the parents would think of it. I thought if they didn't approve I could always say "At least I didn't buy them a drum kit".
It turns out they were happy with it, and apparently in the same box there was an electric car racing track set. I can see a certain bloke I know saying "I'll have to test this out to see if it's safe".
Even the big kids win.

I'm on the Central Coast NSW, fairly close to the lake that is feed by the tides of The Entrance. Few black swans there, with pelicans often using the thermals near the surrounding hills.
Ecar.....seagulls getting wet
Nothing like a wolf whistle from a building site......ah those were the days.

Pretty good with the bird recognition Helen. I have a huge book "What Bird is that" (Australian birds).
Flowers and trees, well, I'd be better with them if they could fly ...

Good morning everyone xx
Big day ahead, musicians everywhere in a few minutes (fully armed with food) and they won't leave until tonight .. a day of concert preparation, lots of fun and chatter.
Hope you are all having, or going to have, a great weekend.

I really appreciate you guys.
I enjoy reading your posts, over a cuppa, in the morning, because you always make me smile.
You brighten my day.

Some of the Best Laughter moments in my life were ..........
....In my childhood's eye, old people in photos sitting or standing stiffly upright with no smile gave me thought that that was what old people became - sternly serious. No more fun after a certain age.............I was dreading old age until I overheard my Pa and his sister (both about 60) laughing their "heads off". Everything was going to be okay.
....Sitting in the back office at work (family retail store) with my Mum and Aunt, something humorous was said and we all laughed. A customer poked his head around the door and thanked us for brightening his day. And ever since, I wonder when I laugh, if somebody else's life is being brightened.
