the nothing ,anything ,everything thread

This is a thread with no particular

Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂

So if anyone out there has something

To say about anything you like now

Is your chance

Keep it clean

And be nice

See how long that lasts

Can we keep politics and religion out

Of the conversation

Hi still at the market

About half an hour and we start to pack uo

Hasnt been a terrific day today, I think maybe

People might be heading for the beach instead

With the first real touch of hot weather

And yes have had three cups a coffee already.

Might crash when I get home

I can remember when it was Made in Japan, then Made in Korea, and now it's Made in China.

I wonder who's next on the list to be our provider of choice for cheap, and I mean that in both senses, consumer goods...

Somewhere, someone has become very wealthy satisfying our desire for "Nothing over $2!".

Looked at the clock - near enough to 4.30. Better get moving and water the garden and organise some food for the animals or the day'll get away from me...

I got outside and the Sun's in the wrong place, in the sky.

It's not 4.30, is it?

It's 3.30. This is going to take some getting used to.

It's hot, a dry heat; cut a slice of bread up and in ten minutes it's gone dry, like toast.

There's fires out there somewhere, wafting just enough smoke over to get the cockatoos anxious, and upset the baby possum - she's squealing and thumping on the inside of the possum house. Somebody's not happy, poor wee thing.

A month or so ago I was looking forward to Summer. What was I thinking?

Smiley LOL

There's been a fire here too.

Near Pt Lincoln

Apparently started by the cfs

Burning off making a fire break.

Was out of control but havent

Heard about it again since before

Lunch so must have gotten

On top of it .

Scarey

A  nasty fire we had last year

Was started deliberately by a guy

Who had been in the cfs

For 30 years

When Dad was first living at the migrant camp at Bonegilla a grass fire swept up. One of the locals handed him a sack on the end of a stick and explained how to beat the flames on the edge of the fire. A flock of sheep got caught by the fire, and let's face it, sheep aren't that bright, and forced into the corner of a paddock. As Dad said, he'd lived through the War, and it's aftermath, and thought he'd pretty much seen everything that could possibly scare him, but a mob of terrified sheep added a whole new dimension to his idea of fear. Both theirs, and his.

ecar , i think Germany could be the new 2 dollar item

as i had purchaes the other day a sandwich maker for 16.00 i thought it was made in china being so cheap.

but it wasn't turns out it was made in Germany.

I think the bushfires will be bad this year , i hate to say it

i think we have skipped spring and gone straight into summer and it is going to be a long hot dry one  if the temps are any indication  of what we are experiencing now.

opmania no not the murray.
