what is TV channel 31?

can anyone tell me what channel 31 is? and how to get it? I have done several scans over the last few weeks but it never comes up.

if you look at this link, the very last channel (well, on my list anyway) channel 31 - at 8:30pm tonight it has a program called "Guitar Gods and Masterpieces".

I think it's an SBS channel we deleted it.

Channel 31 is located in Geelong, Vic.

It is an international type channel with lots of news from all over the world in different languages, and some great other programs.

OH said you need a digial TV or digital box to go to the menu and auto store channel 31 or 44. 44 is the same channel. We watch some programs, especially on Monday 4pm Ken Harris Art Class and at 4.30pm Wayne Clements Art Studio. Both painters have different methods of painting and explain step by step, the easy way how to create something with paint on canvas.

Sorry, freddy, it is not SBS, just a small channel. Has a lot of local events, advertises local business and small gardening, cooking and arts and crafts shows.

there used to be a channel 31 in perth, uni students set it up, i think.. people could broad cast stuff for free

it went bust though way before digital came in

there was a good motoring program on there "cruising" - made me think of it

locals. saw a few fellas i knew

Yes we assumed it was an SBS until I googled.

It is a free to air Community channel broadcasting in most Capital cities.  We have never been able to receive it successfully even though it does come up in our list of channels and was supposedly programmed into our TV.

that link says it's in Adelaide??  I am in Sunshine Coast, QLD.

I've tried to manually tune to 564.5 but I can't get anything.

All the community TV stations are getting dumped, or have been already, onto internet streaming.
