doesn't irk me. i just can't understand what they say if it's too distorted. then i just smile and nodd and ask my hubby what they said 😐

Nah, you'd be okay. It's actually my husband that does it and it annoys me because he didn't used to. I have no idea why it started 😐

i appreciate that it is fun to distort words.
i would like you ALL to be considerate enough to pronounce words more carefully when talking to foreigners/ppl who have english as a 2nd language.

... and yet he has the cheek to criticise when someone says toll (rhymes with hole) instead of toll (doll).
