Becasue if they went by their own rules they would have to kick themselves off the site once all the negatives rolled in (my guess, it would take about 3 hours!)

Of course, you can make suggestions to eBay on how to improve - let me know how that works out for you.

the feed back system is worthless and I now refuse to leave feedback.

after leaving a factual FB for a seller they had it removed, I questioned it and was told it was removed in error and reinstated, it was removed a second time and ebay would not reinstate it a second time.

So as honest FB cant be left there is no point using it at all when dodgy sellers end up with great feed back because ebay hide the bad for the large volume sellers

How did eBay rip you off?  If you mean the fees, well, that is something you agreed to before you listed your item.  You are paying for the service, if you do not like the charge, go somewhere else.  Nobody is forcing you to use eBay.
