Decent quality laptop batteries

Is there a place where one can buy laptop batteries of acceptable quality?

What I can locate on ebay is basically junk of unknown origin, sold for inflated prices.

Specification is mostly a fiction, life span is unacceptable. and manufacturer's name is never listed.

I use BatMon software to monitor a battery performance and what I see is not impressive at all.

I definitely would not buy that sort of thing on ebay.

We buy from a company in Adelaide and are very happy with their service and the products they supply but they charge fair prices, not the "cheap" prices you find on ebay.  In this case you definitely get what you pay for,
