Malwarebytes problem

Running Win 7

have used MWB for years, suddenly it crashed.

So I uninstalled it.

But when I go to the site to download again, nothing happens.

Asks me to download and then nothing.

Any ideas please?

Hi , I would suggest first deleting all browser related files like cookies as some of these are known to be or are functionally connected to malware or some are known to cause browser problems

Run any additionally currently installed antispyware applications to remove malware like browser hijackers

You can also try a different browser

Trying a different browser is a possible work-around rather than a fix (which may imply wrongly that your issue is the current browser)

Does seem that enhanced performace of malwarebytes may have clashed with previously undetected malware or you may have been unlucky and a bad sector developed on the hard disk drive where mwb is located

you can check for any bad sectors by running HDtune app
