Why does Ebay allow sellers to sell 1 and 2TB memory pen drives, when clearly they are all fake?

I have bought 3, 1 and 2tb pen drives and they are all fakes. Why does Ebay allow this to go on when the real ones are over $1000.

Why would you buy an item that you acknowledge is worth over $1000 for $12.99 from a seller registered in China and expect it to be genuine?

You need to take some responsibility for vetting the sellers you buy from.....you get what you pay for.

eBay Australia have no 'control' over sellers registered in China, even if they did it is doubtful they would do anything when people continue to insist on buying from obviously dodgey sellers like this one

If people stopped buying from them, these sellers would not keep raking in the $$$$

Won't happen of course

What about the sellers listed as Australian or using Australia Post for handling fraudulent items. eBay has an ethical responsibility to remove them as sellers.

EBay has an ethical responsibility to delist these sellers

"What about" you take some time to vet your seller?

The seller you left a book length neg for is clearly registered in China & selling cheap junk.

They had negs for you to see before purchase.

Maybe stop buying from them if you really are concerned about ethical responsibilities, you are helping them stay in business

You are also replying to a comment from 3 years ago, made by a member who has passed away

How many times have you reported the sellers?

Do the ads say the so called Australian sellers are dropshipping from China?

No?

Report them

When the seller is registered in China with negs out the wa-zoo, don’t buy from them

It really is not hard

No, buyers have a responsibility to check before buying.

Same as buying from a newspaper ad or any online entity, they don't have the capability of vetting ads or listings.
