DIRT - The house was fully of dirt from Bailey & Rufus and the toys that they brought in that Grace decided that maybe the dogs could go and live somewhere else...but could she go ahead and do it?

TENSE - The thought was fleeting, brought on by the events of last night - and Grace realised she must be incredibly tense, so she made herself a soothing cup of Melbourne Breakfast tea and called one of the local massage therapy centres to see if she could book a session.

EYES - Rufus and Bailey sensed her tension, and both came over and rested their heads on her lap, looking up at her with worried, loving eyes.

STRANGE - On this beautiful sunny Sunday morning Grace thought she saw something strange looking up at her.......
on โ27-04-2025 02:20 PM
EXOTIC - As she looked more closely, to her complete astonishment she recognised it as a very rare and exotic chocolate-coloured frog, which shouldnโt be here in Melbourne, Australia, as she had read the online reports about this relatively recently discovered frog native to Suriname; it was sitting on a branch, and Graceโs mind raced with so many conflicting thoughts all at once โ Rufus and Bailey mustnโt try to touch it or eat it โ this must be an escaped pet โ how could it be a legal pet; it couldnโt be legal! โ who has had it imported โ what on earth should I do โ will this frog hop away โ should I try to pick it up โ no! itโs toxic, isnโt it? โ whereโs my phone โ Iโll call the council โ Edward! He can keep the dogs occupied - council first, then Edward โ oh, lord, itโs the most absolutely adorable little thing Iโve ever seen! โฆ
on โ28-04-2025 06:40 PM
CLOSE - Oh, I mustn't get too close, she thought, it might hop away before the council rangers can get here, and yes it's beautiful, but why am I the one who always has to deal with these odd situations?
on โ29-04-2025 09:39 AM
ENVIRONMENTAL - The amazing cocoa frog continued to gaze at Grace (or so it seemed) as she carefully and quietly phoned the ranger and then Edward, and it was an enormous relief when Edward arrived within minutes to take charge of the dogs; it wasnโt long before the ranger and a frog expert turned up and shook their heads in amazement at the astonishing little frog while securing it, and the expert said, โWe thought it might be a joke - but good lord, it is actually the real thing, hypsiboas sp. - and to find it here could have a huge environmental impact, so weโll be following up to not only return this little fellow to Suriname, but also investigate who smuggled it into Australiaโ, with the ranger adding, โYou did all the right things - thank you!โ

LOST - After the excitement of the cocoa frog incident, Grace was glad that the next few days were calmer; she spent much of the weekend looking for a particular dog toy that had got lost inside, with Bailey trying several times to chew her new slippers, which had Rufus charging at him and rolling him over (for Rufus had some thorough experience in the sanctity of Graceโs slippers!).

TAKING - Taking a risk Grace`s friend decided to give her a call on Mother`s Day to wish her all the best for the day.
