GREY - Looking in the mirror Grace noticed so many grey hairs showing that she rang the hairdresser to make an appointment...she couldn`t wait for the end result!

YOUTHFUL - Grace hated those wretched greys; a few strands had started greying when she was only 30, and it felt so very much the opposite of youthful, so she wasn’t putting up with it — “Don’t you agree, Rufus? Bailey? Get rid of the grey?”

LOVED - At the hairdresser`s Grace couldn`t wait to see the end result. Sitting in the chair whilst Karen was applying the dye she was beginning to get anxious and was hoping for the best. She found it hard not to look into the mirror but having a magazine to read made it easy. After about an hour all was finished so she looked in the mirror and loved the new me!! WOW

DETOUR - Grace hurried home feeling gorgeous, and was so full of energy that she decided to take the dogs for an extra walk, even taking the longer detour; she breathed in deeply as they rounded the lake, enjoying the scent of the unknown cluster of blooms to her left and the cheerful leaps of Rufus and Bailey - and then was even further uplifted by a wolf whistle from a man in shorts and sweatshirt running past her with a cheeky grin.

RUNNING - That man who was running past her brought up so many happy memories of times when as a younger woman she received so many wolf whistles:-)

GALAH - As she and the dogs headed back, and put on an extra burst of energy as they approached the house, Grace saw a large galah sitting on the power line, and Rufus in particular seemed to feel this was a gross intrusion of his domain; he growled low in his throat and then sat back on his heels, looking upwards and uttering sharp barks until the galah took to the sky in an offended flutter of wings.

HOME - After their long walk and arriving home , Grace looked up the driveway and saw 10 galahs sitting on top of the carport. Rufus starting howling & Bailey barking!

EIGHT - The dogs’ shenanigans disturbed another two that flew off, leaving eight stubborn galahs sitting there.

TODAY - Grace decided today that she would walk Rufus & Bailey to the local shopping centre where she would buy them a couple of treats. Tying them outside she hurried inside & purchased 4 pigs ears and some kangaroo straps. Lucky boys.

YEOMAN - As Grace accompanied the two dogs out of the shop, she let out a small giggle; a large Samoyed was sitting outside, leash around a bay tree, with a dignified expression on his face to match the dignity of his canine version of a Yeoman of the Guard outfit.
