GALUMPH - “Oh, Rufus!” groaned Grace, “You would, wouldn’t you!” as he proceeded to frolic and galumph and roll over in an ecstasy of wet doggy delight; Bailey - thankfully - didn’t follow suit as he was more interested in running across the entire backyard, shaking his coat energetically and uttering little barks which probably meant “I’m drying myself! I’m drying myself!”

HARD - Watching Bailey run madly around the yard with a self-satisfied look on his face, Grace found it hard not to laugh, although she was trying to keep Rufus still long enough to give him another bath after his determined effort to undo the effects of the first one.

DRESS - After getting soaked Grace decided to go inside and change her dress to perhaps jeans and a cool top, as it was once again heating up.

SODASTREAM - With a glance at the BOM app promising an uncomfortably warm day, Grace checked the fridge and saw that there weren’t any bottles of water left, so she put another three glass bottles into the drinks compartment, which she would fizz up with her Sodastream machine in an hour or so:

MACHINE - Since it was going to be a perfect drying day, Grace loaded the dogs' bedding and towels into her washing machine and started the cycle.

EACH - After finishing the washing and hanging it out to dry, Grace decided to give Rufus & Bailey a treat each.

HAZARDOUS - Grace was careful to steer the dogs away from some rechargeable C batteries, telling them “These are hazardous for your health, my lads, so don’t you start with opening the utility cupboard and playing with them”, and both Rufus and Bailey were good enough to look as though they fully understood - a nice trick for two intelligent dogs.”

SHADOW - Looking out at the washing drying on the line, Grace felt grateful that the neighbour's new extension wasn't too big, and had stopped short of casting a shadow over her lovely sunny back yard.

WIZARD - During the night Grace started to dream... Thrashing around she opened her eyes and saw The Wizard of Oz staring down at her. Rufus, Bailey I need you she screamed...... but was she dreaming or awake?

DOUBT - In her mind, Grace had no doubt she was dreaming, but in her dream she was sure she was awake, so which was it?
