I have reset my password and now everytime I try to log in, ebay tries to send an authentication code to a mobile number which is NOT mine, so I can not sign in. Any link I try to select to change number or manage account or contact ebay, requires me to sign in again and then tries to send a code to a wrong mobile number. There is no way to rectify it because ebay Australia will not allow you to ring them and when I try to select the 'Chat' option, it requires sign in and therefore tries to send me a code again! I have had to register a new account with a different email, just to be able to sign in and write this issue on the community page. Absolute waste of my time and goodness knows who is recieving all the authentication codes and accessing my original account. Infuriating!
i just want to change my phone number as i have a new phone and it is a different number that you people have so when you send the notification i dont receive it
