I can't save my new user-id after changing it? Green tick indicates i can use it but it does save?

Hi,

I can enter a new user-id but it does not svae. Each time I press save, it jumps back to empty new user id field. After entering new id I see the green tick, indicating tha the id name is free and vlaid. Have tried this in all browsers: Safari, Firefox, Chrome.
