I keep getting emails requesting me to update my Account Details but when I go into eBay Website there is no confirmation about or requirement to do so. So could you please stop sending me emails that go no where!

Without wishing to be rude, I’ll point out that trying to speak to eBay personnel by posting in a public forum (eBay Community boards) makes as much sense as my saying to you something like this:

I keep getting junk mail advertising tree lopping, but I don’t want any trees lopped. So could you please stop sending me junk mail?

People here are not sending you any emails, we are other members like you and have nothing to do with the emails you are getting

I hope you have not clicked on any links in the email

Are the genuine emails that are really from eBay

Or (more likely) a scammer pretending to be eBay, hoping you will click the link so they have harvest your details ?

Are you sure it is real and not a phishing email? It sounds like a phishing email to me, and if I were you I would change my password immediately.

By the way, real emails from eBay are also in your eBay messages (My eBay/Messages). If that email is not there, it is a scam/phishing email.
