My email address is already being used apparently

I try to purchase something on Ebay and log in.  It seems my new email address is already being used.  Perhaps I entered this last year - if so why didn't it bring up my account.  It just says it is already being used.   No clue as to other member number.  Had to use another email address.  This is not convenient.  No option to search - only general questions.  No contact number. Best to cancel account because the email address I was forced to use is one I was forced to create and I check maybe once per year because I cannot access from my laptop.  This is too frustrating.  Ebay is online.  It is interesting that they think everything can be handled by selecting from a list of questions and do not provide an option to chat unless it goes on a public forum.  This does not work for me.

eBay help is at the top of every page, you do not need to post on the member to member forum to use it, nor does what you type in chat 'go on a public forum'

Nor do you need to post your email address here for other members to try to assist (there is even a big, highlighted banner across the top of the page when you go to post not to include personal information

You are more than welcome to close your account whenever you want

No idea what you mean by 'member number' you log in with your email address and password

You have said you don't want help from other members but you want eBay answers that are simply staff typing from pre-written scripts, so go to eBay help, type speak to an agent in the chatbot

If you have two accounts, one account is not going to show information for the other

Same if you at some point bought as a guest or signed in via social media

Otherwise you would simply need to select 'forgot password' for the account/ email address in question

The account you are posting with shows you opened it in 2018 and have one feedback from the past month from a seller with highly questionable feedback
