I was charged twice for Ebay plus annual fee.

OK this is not a question but an update of an issue that others may be facing.  I posted (separate thread) a while back that ebay charged me twice for the annual plus fee.  Numerous phone calls got me nowhere.  I ended up going to facebook and sending a message via messenger app.  To my surprise I go a response the same day.  After quite a few messages back and forward over a number of days (including screen shots showing the 2 payments I thought it was another dead end as things went quite for a while Then on 18/6/2024  I got this below in my messages on my account.  No refund as yet but hopeful.  Posting this here to keep ebay accountable, also if others have same problem then there is hope it might be rectified. 

 

" We have recently had a technical issue that has caused some users to have their eBay Plus membership charged a second time. We have identified you as one of those impacted users.

 We deeply apologies for the inconvenience caused.

 We are in the process of issuing you a full refund for that second charge.

I have now received the credit of $49. All good. Case closed.
