Trying to report a suspected SCAM telephone call and getting absoutley nowhere. Red body fluid useless. Received a telephone call advising of a supsosed purchase, of nearly $300, and advised if not genuine to press 1 now. Did this and all was silent. Wanted to report to e-bay and have to go through a hell of a process.

Yes, it was a scam call but not from ebay.....how do you expect ebay to control what outsiders are doing.

And congratulations.....by pressing 1 you have confirmed to the scammers that they have an active phone number.   Be careful of all the future calls you are likely to get.

Just end this type of call....ebay will never make a call of this nature.

By playing along with the scammer, you will certainly now be added to the call lists of many more

Pointless to contact eBay when the calls are nothing to do with them. eBay is just one of the many companies theses scammers pretend to be from or represent

I have had these calls from supposed Amazon and JB Hi-FI.  Never had anything to do with either.   Your safety is in your own hands.
