Trying to verify my account by phone - page doesn't load

I just registered, but every time I try to verify my account by phone the page won't load after I enter the code. I tried switching browsers (Firefox to IE) but it didn't make a difference.

When I chose the option to verify by a different method (PayPal), it worked when I put in the code, but I was unsure if I had been taken to the right place because the page was about setting up automatic selling fees/payment from PayPal or whatever, when I just want to buy.  So was that the right page or not?
