eBay processed my purchase once as I got confirmation email once. But eBay charged by card 5x

I was buying a book but every time I pay, eBay said cannot process. By the time I was able to successfully purchase my books, I got an email but my credit card was charged 5x the same amount. I called my bank and they confirmed the 5 payments of the same amount went through.
I am am trying to call pm. What do I do. Why am I charged 5x when only 1purchased was processed.
