how can i find a sellers user id

I am tring to make a complaint to ebay however i cannot locate the user id for a seller.

I have a similar problem. I spent hours researching some items to buy on ebay, and found some good candidates from a local seller. However I (foolishly it seems) failed to bookmark the items or make a note of their ids. Now I can't find them again, and I don't know the seller's id so I can't do a search for the seller. All I can remember is part of the seller's name.

But it seems that a) I can't do a search for an item using part of a seller's name, or even the seller's full name, only their seller id, and b) I can't do a search for a seller's id based on their name or part of their name. This makes the search by seller funtion offered by Ebay worse than useless.

How am I supposed to find the seller id so I can do a search? Or better still go straigt to the seller's store and find the items again that I found last time. Does anybody have any idea?
