i have recently purchased an item and in turn i received a message from you stated there has been a log into my account from elswhere.

i live in melbourne and it stated that someone logged in from adelaide sth aust.

can you see if this a spam message or it actually was ebay.

We are just ordinary members here, not eBay staff, so we cannot see if it was spam or not, but real eBay messages are also in your eBay inbox. If you just received an email, then it most probably wasn't real.

Only you can know, by hovering over the address in the email (do NOT click on anything) to see if it was a genuine eBay email or a phishing email

And only you can know if your current address with eBay is up to date, and your computer settings are set to your own state
