Was it on Facebook? There have been several reports of similar scams.
Logos, unfortunately, can be downloaded and then used by anyone and don't mean in any way that those who use them are associated with the company that rightfully uses that logo. They are often also used in scam emails.
You always have to check if an email or an ad is real because there are a lot of scams out there.
