When I add a new listing I couldn't find the option where I can add a variation of sizes.

New to Ebay. Every time I list a new item I do not see an option to add variation on my item. I want to sell multiple sizes but I can't seem to find the option. I can only choose one. Help?

I believe you have to establish a successful track record as a seller before you can list variations.

If, however, you have successfully registered for Managed Payments (which you need to do if you expect to get paid at all) you have 250k free listings per month. Unless you are planning on listing more than that, variations are probably not a priority.

i know for a fact that you can not 'add' variations to existing items.  In Ebay's system an item is either a simple item (no variants) or it is an item with variants.  If you item was originally setup as a simple item you can not add variants.  You would need to delete that item (and yes, lose it's sales history) and then recreate the item from scratch with variants.

I know this because 3 years ago I switched systems and moved from simple to variant items.  I had to delete thousands of listings (my entire catalogue at the time) and start from scratch with variant items.
