ABN number appearing in the postage address

Hello,

two sellers have now notified me to advise that an ABN number and the word PAID is appearing amongst my postal address? I am not sure how to change this as there doesnt appear to be any issues when i checked the postage section on ebay.

Have you checked your personal details in both eBay and Paypal? Is it your ABN number?  Maybe it is a glitch? Ebay has been inserting a code into the postage address for some time now. Some sellers choose to remove it, I just leave it alone, as obviously eBay want it there for whatever reason. Is this what they are talking about? It does not say it is an ABN number, nor does it say "paid" Ask the Seller to send you a screen shot and upload it here to this forum.

the ebay code you are talking about is a virtual tracking, what it is for a ebay CS to look at tracking, instead of going to different carrier site's they just choose that ebay new code and it points to the specific carrier tracking status for that item

it only works if there is a real tracking on the item, otherwise it does nothing
