If so you don't need an update on the tracking.

You need to be aware of the Estimated Delivery Date & the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Have you checked the tracking page of the postal service? The eBay tracking is a bit slow to update.

I do think you should keep an eye on the tracking too because these days parcels are often left in "safe places" that are not always safe, so the sooner you know something has been delivered the better.

Sometimes they leave parcels in unsafe places, and sometimes they hide them so well it is impossible to see them without knowing a parcel has been delivered and going on a parcel hunt. Either way yes, it is better to know as soon as possible when a parcel has been delivered.
