Hi there - I often sell to Australians, with pleasure, but I have worries about sending candles to you guys there because of an experience I had with a Texan buyer many years ago, who said they melted due to being left on his porch by the mailman, when he wasn't home. Can anyone tell me what the system is over there? Would a parcel be left in the heat if the buyer wasn't home? Would it be ok if its a city rather than a countryside address? Thanks in advance for any comments. floristrycourseonline.
If it is not a signature required on delivery then yes they would be left either in the letter box or an arranged place with the resident.
At this time of the year it is very hot and yes they would melt.
If the buyer has a PO box then that is all good as the item would be stored in the Post Office where it is cooler.
