How do I add postage in an invoice? Postage options don't work nor does adding manually.

I have an item that sold to a buyer in the USA. Trying to send an invoice from Australia requires a postage option but no option adds a postage cost. The system won't let me do it manually, so how do I invoice with a different postage amount?
