Trying to find where an item is that was purchased on the 24/10/20 and money has been taken out of the account.

Do you have a tracking number? If so, what does it indicate? Is the seller in Australia?

Have you asked the seller? That would be the logical first point. But use 'contact seller' NOT 'I haven't received my item'. INR queries automatically open a case, which won't make the seller very cooperative.

You haven't really allowed enough time to start worrying. Two and a half weeks in the current climate is the bare minimum anybody should expect for deliveries. If you're in Melbourne, it is very optimistic. I posted an item from Canberra to Melbourne on 14 Oct and it arrived yesterday.

Given the long mail delays due to Covid, there is every change it is simply delayed

The only way to possibly find out where it might be is to ask the seller if there was a tracking number

Naturally the money has been taken out of the account, or the seller would not have sent it at all if you had not paid

Where was the item coming from?

What was the sellers handling time?

What was the estimated mated delivery date that eBay inserted?
