I want to sell on ebay my easels that I make to anyone in Australia. But at the moment I cant because the shipping cost varies depending on where they live. Does ebay have an automatic shipping cost calculator whereby I can give ebay the the weight, and dimensions of the box I pack each easel in, plus the post code of where I ship them from. Then when a customer wishes to make a purchase, they just give their post code on line, and when they land on the Paypal page the cost of the easel plus the postage has been worked out. I cant give an overall postage because postage varies so greatly over Australia.
My easel can cost $10 to $100 to post to the customer depending on where they live. So I have to know the customers post code before I ask them to pay. At the moment, on my web site, I ask the customer to fill out and send to me a "no pay" order form that includes their post code. Armed with that information I work out the postage then contact the customer with the total cost, and only then accept their money followed by delivery of their easel. There must be an easier way to do this with some sort of automatic postage calculator I can install onto my web site and onto the ebay site?
