Large letters in 2019

Hi,

I know this topic has been covered extensively in this community, but not since 2015 (it seems).

I'm looking to start selling bars of soap which will be 85gms, and 18mm thick. If I can send them in large letters it will be a major factor in the success of this venture.

I'm looking to be sending out around 250 packs a week.

Has anyone got recent experience in sending 'inflexible' items in large letters? 

What are your tips for success?

Have you be fined? If so, why do you think that happenned?

Just as an aside, 18mm does not allow very much for protective wrapping around the bars.  Surely you would require some sort of bubble wrap or similar.  Damage will not go over very well.
