Hi, I purchased an item paying by paypal then when I received it, it was faulty. The fault was not mentioned in the listing. The seller has reluctantly agreed for me to return the item however has said that only the purchase price of the item will be refunded and not the postage paid. Therefore I am out of pocket because I have paid postage to receive the faulty item and then paid postage to send back the item to the seller. The listing does say that the seller will only refund the cost of the item. To me this seems a little harsh and unfair for a buyer to have to pay two lots of postage for a situation that is beyond their control. Does any one know if this is supported by ebay or did this seller just make this decision? Thanks
