This has happened quite a lot. When I hand my packages over the counter, AusPost will scan the parcels but consider the tracked envelopes "not priority" and generally don't scan them. Two situations have occured;
1. The post office scanned it (as I'm friends with the owners) but when it's picked up to be taken to depot, the driver doesn't scan them. Then item is left on "We've got it" until it is delivered.
2. I (regrettably) didn't check my lodgement receipt at another post office that I only use on a Saturday morning as my usual place is closed, the woman behind the counter scanned the parcels I lodged but not the tracked envelopes. She handed me a lodgment receipt but I didn't check it. I see the notifications come up for the parcels, but not the tracked envelope. I check the tracking history and it still says "pending".
Lessons for all sellers on here. Check your lodgement receipts. At least if they've scanned it at the post office, then you've done your part. I have 0-1 day shipping and I think this might affect my sellers account negatively. I'll be contacting eBay tomorrow to see what the situation is.
Has anyone else been in this situation before and how did it pan out?

How can the tracked envelopes show on your lodgement receipt - when they were not scanned - each & everyone of them.
This is a bit of a ' crock '.
Letters are not in the purview of MyPost Business; they only handle parcels. That's why you got nothing from MyPost.
