Hi,
After doing a spot of checking on postage charges from the UK to Australia,I have realized that the seller of an item I am bidding on is grossly over charging on postage.I would like to know if I can retract my bid? There are stilll 12 hours & 40 minutes left before close of auction.
Thanks,

I would retract if you think the postage charge is overpriced and you are not willing to pay the amount specified. In bidding for the item you are accepting the postage fee (which is the postage & handling fee really). They may have a high handling fee included - I have read here on the forum (by vastly more experienced and savvy ebayers) that if you wish to retract your bid, it is advisable to do so 12 hours BEFORE the close of auction so the clock is ticking! Good luck.
