Received parcel I had been awaiting from US when opened it was not the item that I had paid for.

What should have been a toy car was a heavy component of a sound system. I believe it may have been mispacked during transit. Have sent message and photo to seller, no reply as yet. Who on eBay do I contact to trace my much awaited item that I had paid for.

eBay are not going to be able to trace anything for you, they do not have any information that you don't have

What does the weight indicate on the original tracking for that package Vs what a toy car would be?

What shipping method was used by the seller?

Quite possible it was a 'mistake' and you and another buyer had their packages 'mixed up' 

Or possible the seller intentionally sent the wrong thing

Or possible when the item was inspected and re-packed something funny went on
