I see now that ebay charges a final value fee on postage. Is this legal? The way I read it, ebay is charging me to use Australia Post.
I understand and have seen in the past, an item worth say, $20 (postage normally say $5) being sold for $2 + $25 postage in order to avoid ebay seller fees.
I feel like I am being punished for not including the price of postage in the cost of the item and listing 'free postage'. If I only sell something for $2, I should only be charged fees on the $2. I only charge basic flat rate fees for postage as it is.
