Shipped to the wrong address

Ok First of all I have never changed my Primary Address in eBay its always been the same.
Now I bought an Item for a friend and had it shipped to him at his address.
I paid via PayPal. I changed the shipping address in eBay and PayPal, The item arrived save and sound all good.
Here is the problem, later bought an Item for myself, I made sure I changed my shipping address back in my eBay and PayPal account before I bought the item.
It was shipped to my mates address?
Now in my eBay order details and PayPal details it has my address however it was shipped to my primary eBay address which for some reason was now my mates address?
I never changed this I only changed my primary PayPal address (which I changed back after I bought the item for him)
I was hoping someone could help me in explaining this too me.
