I am in total agreement - fancy charging for postage costs - what will they come up with next???? As I only sell a few hobby items on Ebay so that I can buy some more materials, I don't have a very big margin anyway and now there will be virtually none. Even if Ebay says to offer free postage, someone has to pay for the "free" and you would need to add the postage cost to the value of the item and still be charged by Ebay - so there is no getting away from their charges.
