I ordered the Flight simulator joystick some time ago and it was due to arrive around the 21 Aug. What arrived was a flight simulator and manuals in a hair drier box. I have not recieved any information on the where abouts of the Joystick, or have I had notification of money for purchase returned.
I would like to be informed of the situation of this item , as the actual item ordered does not come up on any purchase history. The only information is on my email when first ordered.
I have checked the neighbours and they have not seen the item.
Information on the item / notification of money returned, would be greatly appreciated .
Thank you.
Hi, greprapuleni0,
Note: you're not contacting eBay by posting on these boards. They are public forums on which any eBay member can post, and the responders are, like you, fellow eBay members who give voluntary helpful advice and information. (The standard of help is usually well above the type of cut-and-paste help provided by eBay customer service.)
I'll ask one of the moderators to remove your email address as this sort of personal information on a public board only makes you vulnerable to a bombardment of spam and phishing emails.
Re your order - only your seller knows what is going on. You need to contact your seller. Go to your Purchase History, find the transaction in question, and under "More actions" (grey link), you'll see some drop-down options. Select "Contact seller" and from the available topics, make sure that you select "I have a question about using my item or I want to send the seller a message" or "Other". (If you select "I didn't receive my item" or "I received an item that wasn't as described", you're not actually contacting the seller, but rather you are opening a dispute.
Explain to the seller what has happened. Explain that you purchased a "PXN-2113 USB Flight Joystick Simulator Rocker Gaming Controller For PC", listed as BRAND NEW. Explain that the listing showed that the packing list was clearly stated as "
1 x Game Controller
1 x Chinese and English Manual
1 x CD".
State that you have received two manuals (not new) and a flight simulator CD (not new), but that you have not received the actual game controller itself. State that you are concerned by having received these included items in a hair dryer box rather than in an original retail box as would be required if the items were brand new. State that the main issue is that you haven't received the game controller. State that you would greatly appreciate his/her responding within 48 hours, after which time you will have to open a dispute for a full refund on the basis of the item itself not having been received.
This isn't a high-volume seller, so the fact that the seller's feedback percentage is so low (96.9%) isn't necessarily an issue. But if you haven't received what you actually purchased (brand new joystick), you will want to proceed in the right way. Did you purchase on 13th August? (I can see that 2 of these were sold by this seller.) At any rate, you've certainly waited long enough for the joystick to arrive. Was it sent tracked?
If the seller doesn't respond within 48 hours, then open a dispute. If the item wasn't tracked, you can open a dispute on the basis of the item not having arrived. If it was tracked, you may be best off opening a dispute on the basis of not as described. Check through https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/returns-refunds/get-help-item-hasnt-arrived?id=4042 for details, or come back to these boards (replying to this discussion) and any of the responders here can talk you through the procedure.
