parcel not arrived

Orderd and paid for item on 11th November and have received an email from ebay stating that parcel has been shipped and that tracking number is :   60717105909092 and that the estimated delivery 16/11/15.

Well on the 17/11/15 the parcel has still not arrived and when I type the tracking number into Australia Post it comes up as no event found and to me that means it has not been sent.  

Please advise immediately what has happened.  Not happy.  THis is only the 2nd or 3rd time I have used ebay but I am after doubts.
