paypal didnt charge my ebay handling fee

when i sold an item recently on ebay. the person paid for the shipping which i had put down in the shipping section but i had added a $5 handling fee which paypal didnt charge them. how do i make sure this is charged

If it was on the invoice and the buyer paid by that then they would have paid it.

So if you sent them the invoice and added the handling fee did you click on recalculate before you sent it?

If yes that is the problem.

Once you change the invoice do not click on recalculate before you send it.

By clicking on recalculate it reverts the invoice back to the amount before you added the extra.
