Hi guys, we have purchased a book from the U.K. which arrived today. The person who delivered it placed it on top of the letter box as it was an A4 size, thin cardboard envelope. Today here in Melbourne it has been raining most of the day and the package got soaked.
The book inside also got soaked in one corner and is now ruined. The book was for a gift at Christmas. Is there any avenue we could take to get reimbursed from anyone? I can't see it being anyones fault except the last handler of the package. The book may only be worth $30.00 but we can't afford to go and spend that money again. Thanks for any comments. Steve.
