As usual I was bitterly disappointed with the Global Shipping Program. Firstly the shipping costs to Australia are ridiculously high, then they seem to take much longer to ship than even USPS, and then they keep adding fees for packaging (which the seller has already done) and then the Import Charges are added later! As the item is under $1000 there are no import changes to Australia. We do have a GST tax but that is meant to be 10% not 25% the GSP charge. PayPal usually charges this GST amount, not eBay.
I have been burnt every time I buy an eBay item that has GSP. I really should stop buying on eBay. There are many other methods to shop.
