with missing parcel, do i have to open an investigation with AP?

buyer has informed me that she has spoken to her local AP in QLD, and they said i need to go to my local AP and open an investigation ASAP into misplaced parcel, she goes on to say that someone has signed forthe goods at the address i accidentally sent it, but on tracking the parcel it was attempted to be delivered to that address and QLD AP noted incorrect address, would parcel now be in dead mail office in AP, QLD?? please help it's getting to be a hassel for me and buyer
