Cancelling a misspelled PayPal payment

It seems either my customer or I entered the incorrect PayPal email address to purchase an item from me (ended in htomail.com). My customer says the payment is sill unclaimed in PayPal and cannot it cel it. Obviously the address is incorrectly so I haven't received it and cannot cancel it so she can enter the correct address.

surely there is a way to cancel a payment that has been sent to a non existing email address (especially a non existent domain name?)
