Hi all .Since ebay has taken over payments I cannot update my paypal account.

Maybe it is an unrelated problem or glitch, as it is unlikely that the fact that eBay has changed the way they pay sellers has anything to do with you not being able to update personal details in PayPal. Do you mean personal details when you say you cannot update PayPal, like phone number or address or credit card?

Can you log in? If you can log in, you should be able to contact PayPal from there if there is a problem.

Hi. I am logged in my ebay account. I was recently scammed on my old credit card and wanted to update to the new one. Will try again. Thanks for your helpt

If you want to change the credit card associated with PayPal (and pay with PayPal when you make an eBay purchase), you have to change it in PayPal, as if you are logged in to eBay and update the cc in your eBay account, PayPal won't know that you have updated your credit card. You can use that cc to pay directly when you make an eBay purchase, but PP won't know. If you log in to PayPal, there is an option to update your credit card or to add a credit card, and once your details are updated, you can use PP anywhere.

Where and why do you want to update your Paypal account?

If for payment, payments no longer go through your Paypal account. They are processed by Adyen and remitted to your bank.
