It is not a problem, it is a lack of due diligence. When you sign up for eBay Plus there is an annual cost of $48.99. If that is what you have been charged, that is what it is for. It's in the T&Cs you agreed to when you subscribed. If you didn't read or understand said T&Cs, that is a personal, rather than an eBay, issue.

No problems, no answerable question.
