It Looks like there is a scam going around with PayPal have been charged 2 times for the same item

Was charged 2 times for the same item, money for 1st was put back into my acc all good now.

Have you reported this 'scam' ?

Have you notified your bank?

OR 

Have you  really been charged twice

Or have you been charged the way it usually works?

'Pre authourisation' and then the actual charge?

Was it indeed a scam, or simply this working how it should?

It would be helpful for others having this issue to know if they are being scammed or not
