I purchased a tablet which was described as Brand new and unused. It arrived today but has no original packaging, no instructions and it appears to have been used (not much but there is some wear on the screen). The seller has offered to refund me the amount I paid for it but will not refund my original postage costs or pay for return postage, so effectively I'm out of pocket for postage twice (all up close to $30).
I have lodged a PayPal claim and the seller has offered a refund of the purchase price excluding postage costs, however if I escalate will PayPal go in my favour and will the refund include original postage costs? I do not want to pay postage twice when I would never have bid on the item if I knew it didn't come in it's original packaging and had been used!
