Payment Hold - Micro Deposit & No eBay Staff Help!

Hi all,

I started making my first sales on eBay in early May. I've shipped out all items, provided buyers tracking numbers via eBay to track and also received positive feedback from buyers etc.

eBay is holding payments and supposed to release at certain dates which is fair enough, as they said i'm a new seller.

I have set up one account for (payouts only from sales) and one VISA debit card linked to the payout  account for (preferred selling costs only)

A micro deposit of $0.01 was sent to my (payout account) on 3rd of May 2024 and wasn't taken out (As the account isn't setup for debits, it needs to be taken out from my (preferred selling cost account). On the 20th of May 2024, i  successfully received into my (payouts only) account my first sale proceeds, the issue then started when my second payout was due on 23rd of May for a large lump sum payment. (In the interim i didn't touch any accounts attached, as i thought everything is working and no email correspondence from eBay to do anything)

I never received the second amount of funds due for release on 23rd of May 2024, i logged into eBay and all of a suddenly there is a red banner stating i need to re-verify my account, how convenient for this to happen when a lump sum payment is due. I tried to manage the account and re-verify which didn't work, i was then directed to talk with a agent who called me. They said to delete the (payout account) and re-enter it, which i did and they didn't appear to know why i successfully was paid for the first sale then issues when second payment is due. I followed their instruction and was advised a further "penny test"  they called it is required again on the same account the first $0.001 went into and the payment of my first sale successfully went into by eBay....

On the 23/5/24 a further $0.001 entered my (payout account) I was informed i now have to wait a couple of days thereafter then payouts should continue and this is to make sure your account is secure, I've just received a further email today 25/5/24 stating to link my bank account again in order to be paid, i attempt to do this once again and it comes up "We are verifying your details  with a green tick" (There is no option to input micro deposits, which i red some people see)

I'm out of pocket many hundreds of dollars in shipping sold items to buyers which have been received and in turn successfully received one small payout from eBay, now quite a large amount has accumulated  and is due and payable to me. (Payouts set to daily)

As a result of being out of pocket a lot of money for shipping and receiving a small one time payment which covers very little, i have had no option but to delete over 25 current listings. (I cant keep selling & shipping items & not getting paid by eBay when money is due for release and not paid to me). I owe eBay no money, they have conveniently taken out their fees which is many hundreds of dollars from when the buyer's have first paid and they're holding my money they owe me and is now overdue for release.

This is just complete madness and a stalling tactic to not pay me rightfully whats owed, i don't know what else to do - I'm just getting generic responses "Copy & Paste" from operators via eBay with no one at eBay taking ownership of my concerns or helping fully resolve this so i get paid.

Any suggestions on what i can do to get money owed paid to me?

The bank account must be a transactional account.

Quoting: ❝The bank account you link to receive funds must be a transaction account. It can't be a savings account.

If eBay cannot withdraw money from the account, no dice.

Also make sure that the name on the account is exactly the same as your name in your eBay account.

Hopefully your eBay account is a personal account, not a business account. If you did by any chance set up or “upgrade” (ha) to an eBay business account, then your bank account must also be a business account.

Does any of this help to explain what may be going on?
