I made a purchase then went to pay immediately using Paypal at checkout as usual. Got a message saying "Paypal can not process your payment at this time". Odd since I've used the same Paypal account for years and never had this message. Tried again the following day to make the payment - same message so messaged the seller and received a message back asking that I go to my Paypal account and click "send Money" and do payment that way. Or give them my Paypal email address so they could get paypal to bill me. This sounds like the transaction being completed outside EBay to me and I didnt want to give out my Paypal address either so I've done nothing - I think I'll just message back and say I'm not going to proceed with purchase if I cant use the Ebay checkout as usual. I have reported the message as well to customer service.
Has anyone else had this happen? What was the outcome?
